We are seeking a dedicated/reliable and energetic Kennel Assistant to join our animal care team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our animals while providing exceptional pet care. Duties

Assist with daily kennel cleaning, sanitation, and organization to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety for animals Handle dogs and other pets with care, ensuring proper restraint and gentle interaction during feeding, cleaning, and exercise routines Support pet grooming activities including bathing, brushing, and basic hygiene maintenance Provide pet sitting services by monitoring animals' behavior, administering medication if needed, and offering companionship Assist veterinary staff with animal handling during examinations or treatments, ensuring safety for both pets and staff Participate in dog training exercises to promote good behavior and socialization among animals Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or large animals safely while following proper techniques

Qualifications

Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, veterinary clinic, or pet grooming setting is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling skills. Familiarity with animal restraint methods and pet care best practices Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a compassionate attitude toward animals

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
