Kennel Assistant Required

We currently have a casual hour vacancy for a kennel assistant.

Immediate start available.

Weekend work required.

We are looking for someone to join our team of reliable, hard working, animal loving employees. Harkers Barkers Kennels is a family run business which as been established for over 15 years offering only the very best standards of care. We have been awarded a 5 star award from the local licensing authority.

We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate the following:

Excellent care and welfare of the dogs.

Maintaining a clean environment.

Providing daily exercise, play time and enrichment for the dogs.

Confident handling all dog breeds and sizes.

Feeding appropriate diets.

Administer and document medication when required.

Reception/admin duties.

Enjoy physical work in the outdoors and be prepared to work in all weather and conditions.

Computer knowledge with the ability to use a booking system and email account.

Show clients around the facilities.

Have a flexible and positive attitude.

Applicants Requirements:

Qualifications in Maths and English preferred.

Holds or working towards Animal care qualification or minimum 1 years experience of working in boarding kennels or similar environment.

Full Driving licence and own transport.

Casual Zero Hours Contract

Working Hours:

7.30am - 12pm

2.00pm - 5pm

Sunday

7.30 am - 12 pm

2.00 pm - 4 pm
