Kennel Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for additional animal loving, hard working, reliable people to join our 5successful kennels. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and/or have an animal management qualification.
The role entails the care and welfare of the dogs boarding with us, which includes cleaning, feeding, exercising, administering medication and maintenance grooming. This is a customer facing role and the candidate may also be asked to calculate invoices accurately.
The role also includes assisting with puppy enrichment days and some basic dog training. Training will be provided.
The kennels are open between the hours of 8 and 5 on a daily basis - shifts are available for variety of days both weekdays and weekends (with minimum shift period of 4 hours). Various days available including Wednesday, Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays - but hours and days are to be discussed with candidates.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 10.50-13.50 per hour
