Kennel Assistant Supervisor
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily care and maintenance of animals in the kennel
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their specific needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is required
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with pet owners in a professional manner
- Willingness to learn and follow protocols for animal care and safety
- Ensure other kennel assistants have completed the required tasks in a timely manner
