Part-Time Kennel Assistant - Wetherham Boarding Kennels
We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic
part-time team member
to join our dog boarding kennels. The role involves a mix ofsplit shifts and full days
, includingweekend work
andholiday cover
as required.Shift Times:
Split shifts:
8:00am - 11:00am and 2:30pm - 4:30pmFull days:
8:00am - 6:00pm (until 5:00pm during winter)Key Responsibilities:
Daily care of the dogs, including feeding, watering, and cleaning kennels Exercising and supervising dogs in our secure areas Monitoring dog health and behaviour and reporting any concerns Checking dogs in and out, and communicating with customers in a friendly and professional manner
What We're Looking For:
Physically fit - this is an active role with long periods on your feet Confident handling
all breeds and sizes
of dogs Friendly and clear communicator Able to work independently and use your initiative Flexible with working days and shift patternsOwn transport
is essential due to our location and shift times Reliable, punctual, and with excellent timekeeping skills Previous experience in animal care is desirable and/or animal care qualifications.To Apply:
