We are seeking a talented and experienced Kerala Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient team management and collaboration
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation of all menu items
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage procedures
Assist in menu planning and development to reflect current trends and customer preferences
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste
Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly during service hours, maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members to foster professional growth
Uphold high standards of hospitality by ensuring timely serving of dishes and attending to guest needs when required
Qualifications
Proven experience in Kerala food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Experience in food production, menu development, and restaurant operations
Good communication skills to effectively lead a team and liaise with other departments
A passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to food presentation
Previous experience in serving guests in a hospitality environment is advantageous
