Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards. Manage all aspects of food production, including planning menus, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve excellence in food preparation and presentation. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Monitor kitchen operations to optimise efficiency and quality of food served. Assist in developing new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for food preparation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers. A creative mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt menus as needed.
