Location:

Hybrid within the UK (with an expectation of one day per week in our Bicester office, OX26 2FL). Ideally, the candidate will be located in the West Midlands to facilitate travel to both our office and the client's sites.

We are seeking a highly motivated Group Key Account Manager to take ownership of and develop our relationship with one of the UK's leading food producers. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for understanding their strategic objectives, identifying opportunities to deliver our full range of industrial solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role offers a blend of remote working with a requirement to spend one day a week collaborating with the team at our office in Bicester.

Job Summary:



Your primary responsibility will be to nurture and grow our partnership with this key client, ensuring we are their go-to provider for their industrial needs. A proactive approach and a positive can-do attitude are essential for success in this role.

This role holds significant importance within our company, as the effective management of this key account will contribute directly to our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:



Serve as the primary point of contact for all aspects of our partnership with this key client. Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve mutual growth and success. Identify and pursue opportunities to introduce our engineering services, fabrication & machining, MRO supplies, and industrial component repair offerings. Build strong, long-lasting relationships with stakeholders across various levels of the client's organization. Understand the client's business challenges and proactively propose solutions. Collaborate effectively with our internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction. Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs. Develop and present monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), analysing performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement and growth. This includes tracking sales, service delivery metrics, and project progress.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:



Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, ideally managing large, complex accounts. A strong understanding of industrial solutions, such as engineering, MRO, or manufacturing support services. A mechanical/electrical engineering or strong MRO background would be advantageous. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. The ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels. A proactive and results-oriented approach. Strong analytical skills and experience in KPI reporting. Strong organizational and time management skills.

You will also receive a car allowance to support travel, and all genuine company expenses can be claimed back. You will be contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
