Key Account manager - Covering school clients across the Midlands and South-West

Role Fundamentals
Be an ambassador for Computeam and fully own your client account base
Effectively build professional and trusting relationships with client schools and Multi-Academy Trusts
Manage client objections and expectations confidently when discussing service provision
Work with Technical Leads to help improve the provision of IT in our client schools and develop an IT Strategy that will improve education outcomes through technology
Apply proactive sales strategies ensuring client needs are met and sales opportunities are maximised to meet product, service and recurring revenue targets
Make regular contact with clients to ensure services are being delivered satisfactorily, including post-project follow-up calls
Use sales and negotiation strategies to win new business, maintain and improve recurring revenue whilst providing the best possible IT services for our clients
Develop an expert knowledge of Computeam's current IT solutions, products and services.
Produce quotations and proposals for existing clients and new business opportunities
Respond to new sales enquiries and leads from vendor partners
Manage agreements and the renewal process for all recurring services exploring opportunities to enhance the current levels of service
Win referrals and positive social media responses through excellent service and promote Computeam's values in all communications
Maintain Company records and pipeline Opportunities to provide excellent visibility of future business
Actively promote and manage CSAT data, taking accountability for reviews where issues were identified and apply the learning for future negotiations
Liaise with key vendors to register larger opportunities
Participate in regular strategy meetings with key clients
Contribute to and pursue personal development plans with managers
Core Competencies
Previous experience of sales and account management in an IT Managed Service Provider
An understanding of the education landscape, as well as technologies
To be able to build and manage a meaningful pipeline of opportunities
Confident in presenting to key clients and leading meetings with senior stakeholders
To have excellent computer literacy and a sound understanding of IT networking
To be able to identify and prioritise your time, account management responsibilities and client demands using sales and account management strategies and IT platforms to deliver at an optimal level
Understand the sales cycle and adapt your approach accordingly for a mix of clients
Have significant experience of managing a large number of clients, to achieve both long- and short-term sales objectives
Be able to manage difficult relationships professionally and effectively with the needs of the customer at the forefront
Have excellent knowledge of CRM platforms to maximise sales opportunities
Be able identify opportunities and strategies to improve sales processes
To have a solutions orientated approach to your work, valuing clients and the work they do

Information
OTE of 60-70k based on reaching commission targets with 30k- 35k base, depending upon experience
40 hours a week - Flexible working hours and hybrid working.
WFH when not visiting clients, with expectation to attend our regional office at least once a week.
