The Role Overview
To manage and grow relationships with our key accounts ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved. Fostering long-term partnerships and driving revenue through tailored environmental solutions, the role will require proposals, environmental solutions to customer challenges and a proactive, positive form of communication across the business and with the customer base. The role will also be responsible for managing, supporting and developing the junior account manager to be able to deliver growth opportunities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring superior client service and satisfaction.
2. Develop a deep understanding of client operations, environmental needs, and compliance requirements.
3. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their business objectives and aligning services accordingly.
4. Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and lead strategic initiatives to increase service adoption.
5. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, compliance, sales support) to deliver bespoke solutions and resolve issues promptly.
6. Monitor contract performance, renewal timelines, and pricing agreements to ensure account profitability.
7. Prepare and present performance reviews, usage reports, and improvement plans to key stakeholders.
8. Stay up-to-date on environmental regulations and trends to proactively advise clients and adapt service offerings.
9. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline activity, and services in a CRM system.
10. Develop a strategy & deliver growth that can be demonstrated through the junior account manager role.
