Job Description

Change Please is a social enterprise, we have grown from a small cart selling coffee in Covent Garden in 2015 to an international business. We aim end homelessness in 4 countries, using all the profits from our award-winning coffee sales, sold by our wholesale team to large, often global organisations and by our retail teams at multiple sites.

This and the money raised by our fundraising team, allows us to support people experiencing homelessness by providing barista training, living wage employment, access to counselling, therapy, financial wellbeing and guidance, housing support, and onward employment opportunities with our incredible partners. We are about doing business better.

At Change Please we exist to challenge stereotypes, to breakdown walls and kick open doors for those who may struggle to open them. It's not about handouts, we want to harness the potential within everyone and enable them to be the best version of themselves. We partner with organisations to help them bring their social value pledges to life and enable them to make a difference to people from diverse and marginalised groups and local communities.

Role Objective



To help us change the world of course! How? You'll help us do that by delivering and exceeding our Sales, Profit and Impact targets through the management & development of a portfolio of key customers, as well as managing a pipeline of new business too.

Location



London-based with some travel*

Travel will typically entail site visits to customer premises to facilitate meetings, deliver presentations or barista training. We will endeavour to be as flexible as possible particularly around family commitments.*

Responsibilities



Being one of the faces of Change Please to the market! As Key Account Manager and Changemaker you will take ownership of a range of the Wholesale division's Major Accounts as well as Regional Accounts across our core London heart land.

We proudly work with some of the biggest players within the Leisure, Contract Catering, Education, B&I, Healthcare and Travel sectors.

- Strong experience in FMCG Account Management, particularly with food service clients

- Keeping customers at the heart of all we do is paramount. We need someone who has a track record of demonstrating that every single day.

- Existing Coffee knowledge and existing Barista Skills would be a huge advantage, inspiring coffee quality and excellence at all times.

- You will be managing many projects and client requests. We need someone who is organised, diligent and can make things happen!

- We need someone who is confident representing Change Please within the coffee community. We'll need you to support with presentations, customer training, cuppings, trade shows and events.

- Strong Commercial Acumen is really important.

- Experience in building customer reports and presentations.

- Motivated to grow sales within existing clients and targeting new business.

- Selling, Negotiation & Influencing skills

- A high standard of written and verbal communication in English. Don't worry if it's not your first language!

- Good computer skills; experienced in Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint / presentational software.

- Strategic thinking, entrepreneurial and curious by nature

- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst remaining in control and approachable.

- Positive and engaging personality, with a hands-on approach

- Accessible and responsive to face to face, phone, written and email communication.

- High integrity consistently meets commitments in a timely and professional manner.

Salary

: 35,000 - 38,000 per year

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (variable hours)
