Our team are totally committed to customers, as a continually growing company, has led to our need to recruit a

Key Account Manager

with both the experience and ethics to join the team and adopt the company's philosophy and methodology. Ideally based near one of depots.

You will be joining a medium sized, hardworking, and friendly team company specific training will be provided. The customer services team is based in the Swindon office, who you will need to work closely with along with the management based at our five locations. Your main base will be at one of our locations, however a key part of the role will be regularly visiting customers in all areas of the country.

Main purpose of job



To build and strengthen existing customer relationships face to face.

To drive sales growth through excellent key account management.

To liaise with external suppliers, and internal operations & customer service team to deliver excellent customer service and profitable solutions.

Main tasks & responsibilities



Engage directly with your customers and meet regularly.

Work closely with the nominated Customer Service Exec. and co-own the following;

o Driving improvements for the company & customer

o Keeping the customer SLA up to date and develop it to meet changing customer needs.

o Ensure account profitability.

o Manage the customer rates structure/ tariff and ensure periodic reviews.

o Ensure the monthly KPI suite is delivered on time.

o Exploit & develop new service requirements and sales of the customer.

o Exploit & develop new business from within the company's customer list.

o Work alongside your colleagues and at the latter stages of a new customer win and manage the implementation, along with the designated Customer Service Exec.

o Provide the channel for your customer to be heard.

o Provide pricing assistance as required including; a project, a "one off" or when the Customer Service Exec. requires "day to day" help.

o Support Customer Service Exec in handling client care issues.

o Work on 'marketing initiatives' to ensure that the brand image is consistent.

o Provide regular content for the company's web site.

o Work as an active member of the team to input ideas across all disciplines.

o Attend any relevant corporate hospitality events or exhibitions.

Ideal Candidate:



Previous experience in Logistics and / or a similar role.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Be flexible and able to travel.

A clean driving licence would be beneficial.

Have excellent customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-42,000.00 per year
