We are looking for an organised, confident, and relationship-focused
Key Accounts Sales Executive
to join our team in
Chester
. This role is responsible for securing new relationships, as well as managing and developing relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and nurture relationships with allocated key accounts
Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and support
Help to ensure services, projects, or contracts are delivered on time and to agreed standards
Identify opportunities for account growth, renewals, and additional services
Liaise with internal teams to ensure client needs are met
Prepare account updates, reports, and performance reviews
Maintain accurate client records using CRM systems
Support onboarding of new clients and ongoing account management
Attend client meetings occasionally across the UK (if required)
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in account management, customer success, client services, or a similar role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organisation and time management abilities
Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
Competent using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools
Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience managing key or strategic accounts
Experience in high value sales
Background in education / public sector / charity / housing / corporate partnerships will be an advantage
Understanding of contracts, service delivery, or project coordination
Ability to identify opportunities to improve client experience and retention
You will be based at our main Chester City Centre office, located within a short walk from both Chester train and bus station
