Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen and bathroom installations, with the ability to perform a wide range of tasks and work with various materials. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of all processes required to carry out these installations to the highest of standards. The Fitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all components are fitted to specification and meet quality standards.

Duties

Interpret schematics to ensure accurate construction and installation of fittings. Utilise hand and power tools safely and effectively. Perform the necessary range of tasks that are needed when carrying out installations. Plumb fixtures and ensure proper alignment and functionality. Conduct quality checks on completed work to maintain high standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role is essential. Strong skills in carpentry, plumbing, tiling, or plastering work are an advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively. Experience with hand and power tools is required. A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship is essential.
