Gratton Construction is seeking an experienced

Kitchen and Bathroom Fitter (Multi Trader)

to join our team delivering a large-scale improvement programme across

South Kesteven District

, starting with this year's works in

Stamford

.

This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson with strong experience across both

kitchen and bathroom installations

who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and professional, respectful customer service.

4-year contract to install kitchens and bathrooms

for council-owned housing across South Kesteven -- and we're building a dependable, skilled local team to deliver it.

Responsibilities

Kitchen Installations

Install units, worktops, sinks, taps, appliances, and complete plumbing tasks Undertake associated works including plastering, tiling, and carpentry Follow agreed plans/layouts and report variations as needed
Bathroom Installations

Fit full bathrooms, including sanitaryware and pipework Install

Mermaid board

for shower/wet areas (no tiling in wet zones) Perform minor decorating, carpentry, and sealing as needed
General

Work respectfully in tenanted homes with minimal disruption Communicate clearly and courteously with residents Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and conduct policies Keep records, materials, and tools well maintained and safe

What We're Looking For

Proven experience fitting

both kitchens and bathrooms

Competence in multi-trade skills (tiling, plumbing, carpentry, plastering) Ability to read and follow installation specs/layouts Awareness of site safety, safeguarding, and tenant care standards Full UK driving licence (essential) NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in a relevant trade (preferred) Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain (required)
