Role: Kitchen Assistant

Hours: Part-time and Bank roles (Rota covers Monday to Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

The duties will include:

Assisting the Cook in the smooth running of the Kitchen Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, participating in the cleaning routine and complying with all Environmental Health requirements Assist in the preparation of meals in accordance with the set menus, availability of food and wishes of the residents. Care must be taken to ensure that all meals are presented in an attractive manner Assist in the correct storage of all foods, in accordance with legal requirements Assist in the catering for special diets, as required Assist in the taking of recordings, as required. This is not an exhaustive list of tasks and there are other duties that form a part of the full job specification
