We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Assist chefs and cooks with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is prepared and stored properly. Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients for various dishes as directed by the kitchen staff. Help with plating and serving meals during busy service periods. Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring high standards of food presentation and service. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal delivery.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are advantageous. Familiarity with knife skills and food handling practices is a plus. A passion for the culinary arts and eagerness to learn about food safety standards. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Experience in catering or food service is beneficial but not mandatory.
