Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes and food safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Support chefs and cooks during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing supplies correctly Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high standards of service

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred Strong cooking skills with basic knife skills for efficient food preparation Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic culinary setting Experience in catering or food service is a plus
