Job Description

St Bede's and St Joseph's Catholic College are seeking to employ part time Kitchen Assistant. Your role will be to support the College by assisting in the provision of high-quality catering services to our students and staff.

Required As soon as possible



Contract type:

10 hours Term time only plus 6 days

Salary:

Scale 1 Point 2 12.65 per hour

Contract Term:

Permanent TTO+6 days

You will have a positive 'can-do' attitude, along with a basic knowledge of food preparation and service. The successful candidate will:

Have some knowledge or experience of catering, food preparation and storage

Have an understanding or experience of Health and safety/fire safety in the kitchen

Have good communication and listening skills

Have the ability to work to tight deadlines

Be able to follow the College guidelines and policies

Understand GDPR and maintain confidentiality

Have the ability to relate and work effectively with people at all levels

Have confidence to work independently but also as part of a team
