We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and service run smoothly. Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of chefs. Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure hygiene standards are met. Support catering events by assisting with food service and presentation. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous. Experience in catering or restaurant settings will be beneficial. Understanding of food safety regulations and practices is desirable. A passion for cooking and serving quality meals is essential.
