Kitchen Assistant /cook
Job Description
Part- time position available in a trendy cafe 2 days per week. More hours would be available to cover the chef in their absence.
To prepare meals from the cafe menu and specials that will have been planned for the day. Full training will be provided.
The Ideal Candidate
Able to work as part of a team.
Be reliable and punctual.
Experience in cooking and preparing meals.
Demonstrative customer focus and service skills.
Experienced in all aspects of food safety and hygiene
Be prepared to work some weekends and public holidays so flexibility is essential.
Must have high standards of presentation
Able to manage multiple orders
Remain calm under pressure
Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic, and tidy at all times
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
