Lavender Field School is part a rapidly growing group of independent special schools with locations in Staffordshire and Cheshire, providing exceptional, holistic care, education and therapy to children from 5 to 18 with a range of complex social, emotional and mental health difficulties and learning needs.

We have the current vacancy;

Kitchen Assistant:

Part Time (25 hours per week) 13,341.65 per annum Salary paid in 12 equal monthly payments Term time only (39 weeks a year)

ROLE

The role will suit an experienced, enthusiastic, pro-active and motivated, hands on Kitchen Assistant to provide support to our catering service. Good understanding of traditional home cooked meals, must be reliable & fully competent in all aspects of kitchen duties

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Food preparation and cooking in line with all Food Hygiene, Health and Safety legislation and procedures Service delivery to the children and employees Setting up and clearing away service points and dining equipment and furniture. Washing up and clearing up spillages Cleaning kitchen, dining area, access areas, furniture and equipment in line with our Cleaning Systems Other general kitchen related duties as directed. When suitable and where risk assessed be willing and able to work alongside children on occasion in completing routine tasks.
