Job Description

Redwood House (Broughty Ferry) Limited is a residential home, where care and support is provided to elderly adults who are recruiting a Kitchen Assistant.

This position is for 22.5/30 hours per week, actual working hours will be discussed at interview.

Duties will include:

Washing and storing dishes and utensils Sorting and distributing ingredients Helping to prepare food and desserts Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans Observing cooking times and correct temperatures

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Work Location: In person
