We are currently seeking a passionate individual to join us as a Kitchen Assistant on a permanent basis, where you will become an ambassador of Scottish food and Scotch Whisky.

A peek into the position

We're looking for a hands-on Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll play an important part in preparing fresh ingredients, assembling cold starters, sandwiches, and salads, and supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in presentation and quality, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your Role in a Nutshell

Assist chefs with daily prep, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients Prepare and plate cold starters, tapas, platters, sandwiches, and light dishes during service Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in all prep areas Ensure stock levels are maintained and ingredients are stored correctly Support the kitchen team and assist kitchen porters during busy periods Help keep the kitchen clean, organised, and running efficiently
