to support our kitchen team with day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will help maintain cleanliness, assist with food preparation, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist chefs with basic food preparation (e.g., chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients)
Keep kitchen areas clean and sanitized, including washing dishes, utensils, and work surfaces
Help unload and store deliveries
Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
Ensure all kitchen equipment and appliances are cleaned and maintained
Follow health and safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Help organize stock and notify chef of shortages
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen manager
Help train the younger kitchen assistants
Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is a plus, but not essential
Knowledge of basic food hygiene and kitchen safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
Team player with a positive and flexible attitude

Pay: From 13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
