We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our Kitchen team. Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces. Support the cooking staff by preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables and measuring out portions. Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, including proper storage of ingredients and maintaining hygiene standards. Help with serving meals during busy periods and ensure that all dishes are presented to a high standard. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal service. Participate in catering events as required, assisting with setup and breakdown of service areas.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices are beneficial. A passion for cooking and willingness to develop skills in meal preparation and serving is essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
