Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Support chefs with cooking tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking various ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Help with the serving of meals during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Participate in inventory management by checking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in catering or restaurant settings. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new skills within the culinary field. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
