J&D Pierce (Contracts) Ltd is Scotland's premier steelwork contractor working on some of UK's most exciting construction projects like Anfield Stadium, the National Innovation Centre, and Queen Street Station, changing the skyline of the UK.

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, assisting with basic food preparation, and supporting the kitchen staff as needed. You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 6am to 2.30pm. Due to location your own transport will be required.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils. Ensure the canteen dining area is kept clean (sanitise table, moping floors wiping down walls) Wash dishes, pots, and pans. Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients or any other tasks as required. Replenish Stock Take food orders Cash Handling Follow all health and safety regulations and any other relevant duties as required

Requirements:

Attention to Detail Excellent Time Keeping Cleaning Experience Health and Safety Awareness Comfortable with an early start.
