Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Kitchen Assistant to support our Nursery Chef in planning, preparing, and serving healthy lunches and teas for children aged 0-5 years. This is a busy, well-established kitchen within a family-run nursery, supported by a warm and experienced team.
About the Role
Assist with the daily preparation of nutritious meals, following a four-week seasonal menu. Prepare suitable alternative meals for children with special dietary requirements and allergies. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in a busy kitchen environment. Ensure all local health and environmental guidelines are followed.
About You
Allergen awareness and food hygiene training are advantageous. Experience in a kitchen environment. Willing to complete training. Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to providing children with healthy, high-quality meals. Able to work well as part of a supportive and long-standing team.
Hours
Typically 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
