Mickle Hill

is located in the beautiful setting of Pickering, a lively and welcoming market town packed with a range of independent shops and cafes. The village is in a beautiful setting, with a thriving community which includes apartments and bungalows allowing our owners to live as independently as they desire in their own homes.

As a Kitchen Assistant you will support the kitchen team to serve delicious, well-balanced and nutritious meals that our Owners and guest will love.

You will support the kitchen team, help with every day prep ensuring we have a clean and tidy work environment.

Responsibilities

Kitchen Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Prepare food consistently to the level required by the Chef Accurately carry out instructions received by line manager during service Record keeping using electronic device Washing of pots and pans Keep floor areas clean Sanitising food preparations areas and ensuring food is stocked up in all areas Checking / replenishing / rotating stock Assist to upload and pack away deliveries

Skills and Experience:

Be happy to interact and communicate with owners and guests Can do attitude Positive and approachable manner Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge High level of attention to detail Experience of working in a busy kitchen
Training will be provided

Hours and any other restrictions:

This is a part time role

24 hours per week 8:00-14:00 Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon
