Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the kitchen. Duties:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Assist cooks and chefs in various tasks as needed
- Help with meal preparation for catering events
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
