Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Assist in meal preparation and ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all staff and customers. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the restaurant industry is highly desirable. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills will be advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
