We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a

kitchen assistant

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food preparation and cooking who is eager to contribute to our kitchen operations. The Culinary Associate will play a vital role in ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety, while also supporting the overall efficiency of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen Collaborate with the kitchen Manager to ensure timely service and quality control Participate in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas Support the team in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed Serve meals to customers with attention to presentation and detail

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment is preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Weekend Availability
