?What are we looking for?

Providing good, home cooked meals is a big part of our resident's day and their meal time experience. You will support the Chef to prepare nutritious and tasty meals and snacks. Knowledge of dietary requirements would be an advantage, but training and support will be provided.

Duties

You will be working with the chef to provide high quality home cooked food for our residents. You will get to know the residents and work with the whole team. You will be preparing sandwiches and snacks as required and help to serve to the residents. You will need to record refrigerator, chiller and freezer temperatures in accordance with Environmental Health requirements/ HACCP You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and recording these. Possessing knowledge of special dietary requirements, particularly food for the elderly, and familiarity with IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) guidelines is advantageous.
