Summary

We are seeking a Kitchen Porter team member to join our kitchen staff at Hidden River Cabins. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, ensuring that our culinary team can operate efficiently. Located in the picturesque surroundings of our holiday cabins, this position plays a vital part in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the culinary team. Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods. Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling practices are followed. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.

Requirements

Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn. A positive attitude and teamwork spirit.
