At The Bear Inn Hodnet, we are looking for a Kitchen Porter to help keep the engine room running.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces. Checking deliveries and putting them away correctly. Follow safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment. Follow a strict clean down protocol at the end of shift.

About you

Reliable and conscientious worker Carry out tasks competently and safely Organised, clean and tidy Be available to work nighttime shifts (normally finish at 10.30pm) Can drive or is able to attend shifts with regular transport (buses are not reliable in Hodnet)
Previous experience as a kitchen assistant, kitchen porter, pot washer or kitchen cleaner in a busy pub, restaurant or hotel is preferred but not essential.? Most importantly you will be keen to work in a friendly kitchen where you'll really be part of the team.

Please note

you must be age 16 or over. As a business we are open Tuesday to Sunday breakfast. Most shifts available are midweek and weekend evening shifts.
