About us
Lytham Grange is a small care home in Blackpool, FY4 1RG.
```Duties```
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware
- Stock and organize ingredients and supplies in the kitchen
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Help with setting up and breaking down the kitchen and dining area before and after service
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Clean down/setup dining room after each meal time for service users.
```Skills```
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, or restaurant kitchen is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with other kitchen staff
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 25.5 per week
