We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic pot washer/Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. Support chefs in cooking tasks and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Help with the setup and serving of meals during service times. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Assist in inventory management by helping to receive deliveries and stock supplies as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not necessary Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service.
