Warrington School Meals Team manage catering operations in over 60 schools across the borough. We are looking for 7 Kitchen Assistants support the operations in one of our partner schools listed below:



Oughtrington Community Primary School



Culcheth Community Primary School



St Monicas Catholic Primary School



Oakwood Avenue Community Primary School



Cinnamon Brow CE Primary School x 3 posts

The role

The successful candidates will assist in providing a lunchtime service catering for approximately 100 - 200 meals a day. Duties will include food preparation and serving healthy meals using fresh ingredients in a safe and compliant operation in line with the Council's policies and procedures

What's needed?

Experience

Previous catering experience Working as part of a team Basic food preparation

Skills and Abilities

Ability to communicate at all levels with both customers and colleagues. Necessity to work as part of a team. Ability to control and rotate stocks. Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
