Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/ Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for detail. You will play a vital role in our kitchen, contributing to the overall customer experience by delivering high-quality meals in a timely manner. A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices is essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. To serve soup and any hot specials. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and organised, adhering to food safety standards. Food Hygiene Certificate is essential. Assist in meal preparation for catering events as needed, ensuring all orders are fulfilled accurately. Maintain stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when replenishment is required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment including washing up.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or a culinary role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: 12,210.00-28,929.08 per year
