Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sandwich Maker/cook to join our team in creating delicious sandwiches, salads, baked potatoes etc for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and providing excellent customer service. This position is a 3 day a week shift 6 hour shifts and one of those days will be a Sunday, at our Eastern Esplanade location, other locations could be required.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches according to customer orders

- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwich making

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area

- Assist in stock management and inventory control

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including upselling additional items

- Follow food safety regulations and guidelines at all times

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is required

- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently

- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods

- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
