This is a permanent, part time position. Availability throughout December is essential
We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to work alongside one of our chefs and support them in delivering high quality fresh food at a fast pace.

This role involves assisting in basic food preparation, kitchen duties, and ensuring that all food safety standards are upheld.

We are looking for someone who has some experience of working in a fast paced hospitality environment. Full training will be given. The right candidate will be well presented, reliable and have excellent communication standards.

Shifts

Proposed shifts will be 10am-2.30pm/3pm over 3/4 weekdays.

Throughout December there will be additional days (overtime) available.

Duties

Assist the Chef in daily kitchen operations and food production. During service you will help to plate food, finish plates with salad garnishes and ensure each order is complete before passing meals over to the front of house team. You'll take care of deliveries and ensure trays and pans are washed and ready for use. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.

Skills

Previous cafe or restaurant experience is highly desirable. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, hard working and with a can-do attitude. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 13.5 - 22.5 per week
