Job Description
The primary mission of the Kitchen Assistant at La Maison is to deliver efficient service by ensuring safe and high quality food is prepared, in a timely manner.
Performing various tasks including kitchen setup and preparation, ensuring food safety, partaking in food production and cleaning. Essentially preparing food as per customer's expectations/ request.
Kitchen Assistant's are our link with our customers, and therefore, your role as Kitchen Assistant is vital to the successful running of our business.

Role & Responsibilities of the Chefs:
Prepare stations and food stocks in readiness for service Prepare all food items to company specification Have previous knowledge and use of a rationale cooking centre Cook food items by grilling, frying, roasting and other methods to specification Maintain impeccable cleaning practices and food handling in line with company policies Perform stock rotation and storage procedures including FIFO Clean down to a high standard before shift completion
About You as the Chefs:
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts throughout a 7 day rota. Culinary qualifications and experience Able to remain calm under pressure Accuracy and relevant speed in executing tasks Organisational skills Passion for working with food Attention to detail Ability to work as a team member Follows directions and instructions Willingness to learn
