As a company committed to enhancing the quality of living for residents, we are seeking an experienced Kitchen Fitter (Multi Trader) to join our team. This role involves completing larger repair projects in tenanted properties, specifically focusing on kitchen installations, while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

:

- Carry out kitchen fitting installations in tenanted properties, including the assembly and installation of kitchen units, worktops, appliances, sinks, taps, and associated plumbing.

- Undertake multi-trade tasks related to kitchen installations, such as carpentry, plastering, tiling, painting, and decorating as required.

- Collaborate with the project team to plan and schedule kitchen installations, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.

- Adhere to health and safety regulations, implementing safe working practices and using appropriate protective equipment.

- Communicate effectively with residents, providing clear information and addressing any concerns or queries in a professional and courteous manner.

- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting quality requirements and client specifications.

- Complete work orders, reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition, reporting any faults or issues promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience as a Kitchen Fitter or Multi Trader, with a focus on kitchen installations, preferably within the social housing sector or a similar environment.

- Strong carpentry skills and experience in fitting and assembling kitchen units, worktops, appliances, sinks, and taps.

- Competency in related trades such as plastering, tiling, painting, and decorating.

- Knowledge of plumbing and the ability to undertake basic plumbing tasks related to kitchen installations.

- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are highly desirable.

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to implement safe working practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome challenges during installations.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, colleagues, and clients.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.

- A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Full, clean driving license is essential.
