Multi Trader - Social Housing Maintenance

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced

Multi Traders

to join our dedicated in-house maintenance teams, working on occupied social housing properties across London. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality responsive and planned maintenance services on behalf of a reputable housing association.

There are multiple roles available across 4 teams, covering

North East, North West, South East, and South West London

. You will be patched off depending on location and will not travel over 10 miles from your location.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks in tenanted properties, including:

Carpentry

- door adjustments, kitchen unit repairs, skirting, architraves

Plumbing

- tap replacements, minor leaks, toilet repairs, basin/sink installation

Patch Plastering

- making good small damaged wall areas

Minor Tiling

- splashbacks, small tiling repairs Provide a customer-focused service, ensuring residents feel respected and informed. Diagnose issues accurately and complete jobs efficiently and safely. Use handheld devices for job scheduling and reporting. Work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.

Requirements:

MUST

hold an

NVQ Level 2

(or equivalent) in a relevant trade (e.g., Carpentry, Plumbing, Multi-Skilled, etc.) Proven experience working in a similar Multi Trader role, ideally within social housing or domestic maintenance Full UK Driving Licence (clean preferred) Excellent customer service skills and a positive, solution-focused attitude Ability to pass a DBS check
