We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Helping Hand to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for food and a desire to support kitchen operations in a dynamic environment. The Helping Hand will assist in various tasks related to food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen standards, ensuring that all meals are prepared safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and guidelines. Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Help with serving meals during busy periods, providing excellent customer service to guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times. Participate in cleaning duties post-service, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Culinary experience or training is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for food preparation and cooking, with a willingness to learn new techniques.
