Summary

As a Kitchen Manager at Rockfish, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. This position is essential for delivering our renowned seafood dishes and creating an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality. Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high culinary standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health codes. Train and supervise kitchen staff to foster a collaborative environment. Develop menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and reflect Rockfish's commitment to quality. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in the restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Passion for seafood cuisine and commitment to quality.
