Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Manager to oversee the food operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food preparation, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests.

Duties

Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques. Implement and uphold food safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Train new staff members in kitchen procedures, safety protocols, and best practices. Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, placing orders as necessary. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary leadership role, this would be suited to a head chef or aspiring sous looking for their next step. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Proficiency in food preparation techniques. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service. Previous experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
