You will be responsible in managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen to ensure efficient, safe and high-quality food preparation and delivery whilst working closely with the restaurant manager.
Prerequisites
Key Skills & Attributes:
Ensure the efficient production and high standard of all food prepared and served
Meet targets for speed of service and quality control
Manage the kitchen team, maintaining standards of dress code, work rate, training and development
Ensure all required food safety and operational checks and records are completed accurately and on time
Ensure strict compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and company procedures
Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards across kitchen and storage areas to ensure a 5-star hygiene rating
Order and manage stock efficiently, implement portion control and minimise waste
Ensure correct stock rotation, labelling, and dating of all ingredients
Operate within company parameters, budgets, and cost controls
Conduct and support accurate stocktaking as scheduled
Report faulty equipment and maintain a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
Ensure allergen procedures are correctly followed and documented
Support onboarding and training of new kitchen staff
Previous experience is essential for this role.
Duration
Full Time - Daytime hours only, including alternative weekend working

Pay: 28,000.00-31,000.00 per year
