We are seeking an experienced, organised and dedicatd Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our wellness brand. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for creationg, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, ensure high-quality food production, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties
Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of performance and teamwork
Oversee food safety compliance and ensure adherence to hygiene regulations
Coordinate with suppliers and Operations Manager for inventory management and stock control
Have an interest in menu development and implement menus in collaboration with the co founder
Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency across all dishes
Train new staff members and provide ongoing development opportunities for existing team members
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment with attention to legal processes
Assist in managing food quality and service standards
Requirements
Proven experience in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Previous management or supervising experience in a culinary environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Background in restaurant or kitchen experience, ideally with culinary qualifications
Familiarity with hospitality operations and customer service standards
Experience with barista duties is considered advantageous but not essential
A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
